Q: How do I know if my local recycler handles plastic film?

A: It’s true that not all recyclers handle a flexible plastic; however the number of participants in this fast growing industry is increasing. Check with your local handler for availability or Google search local recyclers for drop off locations.

Q: Should I clean my reusable drink tube?

A: Yes, your drink tube is the reusable portion of the personal hydration system and can be maintained very easily by rinsing with water after use and allowing to dry while disconnected from the bladder. Below are detailed directions:

Directions for cleaning your drink tube:

AquaFlo Pesonal Hydration System

Step 1: Remove cap from AquaFlo™ reservoir.

Step 2: The bite valve can be cleaned by removing the clear silicone rubber piece from the black plastic piece, then removing the black plastic piece from the tubing.

Step 3: To clean the tubing around the cap and elbow joint, peel away the tubing and slide it off the elbow by moving your fingers from side to side this will be difficult because of the friction fit of the tubing to the elbow. You may choose to trim the tubing and reattach.

Step 4: Clean with warm water and soap. A brush may also be used.

Step 5: Reverse above instructions to reassemble.
